Dozens of Israeli Air Force (IAF) planes and drones drop hundreds of tons of ammunition on thousands of Hamas targets, day and night, as a prelude to an all-out ground invasion, which all indications are that it is near to begin.

The spokesman of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that, during the last 36 hours, dozens of Israeli Air Force planes have been attacking in waves every 4 hours. According to intelligence data, thousands of targets were bombed, in order to maximize the damage to Hamas’ warfare capabilities. The bombing focused on the gathering points of fighters planning to invade Israel, the homes of Hamas’ top commanders, operational centers, as well as its headquarters and infrastructure.

The latest IAF bombing focused on the Rimal area of Gaza. This area is a symbol of luxury in central Gaza and is of great significance to senior Hamas leaders and operatives. Subsequently, other targets in Khan Younis were struck, including intelligence infrastructure, apartments used for operational purposes, and a location where Hamas was assembling its forces for a new incursion into Israel. Tunnels used by Hamas to smuggle equipment and ammunition are also under attack. Hundreds of Hamas terrorist organization operatives were neutralized during these attacks.

The IAF is using all its firepower in this war, concentrating up to 100 fighter jets over the Gaza Strip for some of its bombing raids. F-35s, F-16s and F-15s are tasked with destroying targets on the ground, while Heron 1 and 2 drones and Hermes-450s keep the entire territory under constant surveillance. Communications and advanced control of offensive actions is provided by G-550 Eitan AEW&C aircraft. The G-550 Shavit electronic reconnaissance aircraft also patrol off the coast of Lebanon, where some artillery exchanges have already taken place between the IDF and Hezbollah-affiliated organizations seeking to force a two-front war.
