Indra has advanced the field of fighter pilot training with the development of NEXUS, a new tactical simulator that combines immersive experience, AI-assisted mission planning, and connectivity with other simulation systems. Entirely developed by the Spanish company—both hardware and software—NEXUS is designed to meet the most demanding operational requirements, adapting to a wide range of maneuvers and tactical scenarios.
Designed with fifth- and sixth-generation fighter cockpits in mind, NEXUS features a user interface centered around a large touchscreen panoramic display known as a Large Area Display (LAD), increasingly common in next-gen aircraft.
