From Argentina to Embraer: new FAdeA delivery for the C-390 Millennium program
A new shipment of key components for the production of Embraer’s C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft has been dispatched to Brazil by the Argentine Aircraft Factory (FAdeA), located in Córdoba.
According to the Argentine company, the delivery to Embraer’s facility in Gavião Peixoto (São Paulo), where the C-390 is manufactured, includes two major components: a tail cone and an upper rack.
“Two new assemblies for the C-390 Millennium program have departed for Brazil. This marks our eighth shipment of the year,” the company announced. “FAdeA continues to strengthen strategic commercial ties, committed to achieving sustainable long-term growth,” it added.
In recent C-390 program shipments reported by FAdeA, early May saw the dispatch of 28 components, including 12 spoilers, 8 fixed fairings, and 8 movable fairings.

Earlier this year, in April, an upper rack was sent; in March, a cargo door and 13 additional parts were shipped, including 8 movable fairings, 1 tail cone, and 4 nose landing gear doors, according to AEROIN, a media partner in Brazil.
In February, the shipment included 4 more nose landing gear doors, 8 flap fairings, and a replacement cover for the tail cone. In January, a cargo door, one movable fairing, 4 spoilers, and 8 flap fairings were sent.
These developments come despite the challenging situation FAdeA faces, following years of mismanagement that at times led to suspended operations due to unpaid wages.
