The airline’s growth strategy is driven by current demand, focusing on domestic routes and selected European leisure destinations. Since the start of its first flights on June 30, 2021, Flyer has expanded its fleet to five Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

This February 22 it took delivery of its first Boeing 737-8 and from Scandinavia, registration LN-FGF, through an agreement with Air Lease Corporation (ALC) for six aircraft. Although it also has an option to acquire four additional aircraft.

«Flyr is progressing according to plan, and we have been very well received in the market. We are very pleased with the development and, after a period heavily influenced by Omicron and the restrictions imposed by the government, we are ready for the summer season, when we will offer 44 routes to 38 destinations,» commented CEO Tonje Wikstrøm Frislid.

Adapting to volatile market conditions, the company has quickly adjusted production and supply, making it possible to have a presence in eight Spanish cities: Alicante (ALC), Barcelona (BCN), Ibiza (IBZ), La Palma (SPC), Malaga (AGP), Madrid (MAD), Palma de Mallorca (PMI) and Valencia (VLC) from Oslo/Gardermoen (OSL).
