Etihad will offer 10,440 seats per week between Abu Dhabi and Italy this northern winter season, an increase of almost 30% compared to summer capacity. In addition to its operations to Rome – Fiumicino, the airline also has daily flights to Milan – Malpensa operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

«We are delighted to announce the expansion of our Rome service, which underscores our commitment to offer more flexibility and better travel options to our guests in Italy, the UAE and across our network«, said Arik De, Etihad Airways Chief Revenue Officer.

Etihad currently has a codeshare partnership with ITA Airways giving customers the ability to connect to more than 40 Italian destinations, including popular destinations such as Genoa, Bari, Brindisi, Catania and Palermo.
