Emirates has announced it will incorporate a fourth daily frequency on its route between Dubai (DXB) and London-Gatwick Airport (LGW) starting February 8, 2026. This addition not only enhances connectivity to the British capital but also marks the debut of its most modern aircraft, the Airbus A350-900, on this route.

With this new service, the Gulf carrier will reach a total of 12 daily flights to London, distributed across Heathrow (LHR), Gatwick (LGW), and Stansted (STN) airports. Overall, Emirates' UK operations will increase to 140 weekly flights to eight destinations, solidifying the country as one of its most important markets.

    What to Know

What? Emirates' fourth daily flight to Gatwick.

    When? Starting February 8, 2026.

    Which aircraft? Airbus A350-900.

What it means: 12 daily flights to London and 140 weekly flights to the UK.

The new flight, designated EK069/070, will operate on a strategic schedule. Flight EK069 will depart from Dubai at 17:05 and land in Gatwick at 20:50. The return flight, EK070, will depart from London at 23:55, arriving in Dubai at 11:00 the following day (all local times). According to the airline, this timing as the last flight of the day in both directions offers flexibility for travelers, allowing them to make the most of their day in either city.

The Airbus A350-900 assigned to this route will feature a three-class configuration, with 32 lie-flat seats in Business Class (1-2-1 layout), 28 seats in Premium Economy, and 238 in Economy Class. The introduction of this aircraft is part of an ambitious fleet modernization and expansion plan, following Emirates' orders for a total of 65 A350-900s in recent years, with deliveries having started in mid-2024.

Gatwick will become the second UK destination to receive the Emirates A350, after Edinburgh. The new aircraft is already being deployed to a growing list of global destinations, including Lyon, Bologna, Colombo, Mumbai, Bahrain, and Istanbul, among others. The company's UK fleet will consist of a mix of A350s, A380s, and Boeing 777s.
