    On May 25, Delta Air Lines expanded its offerings in Germany with the resumption of its nonstop flights between New York and Berlin, which were interrupted by the pandemic. With this service, the company becomes the second U.S. airline to fly to the German capital’s new airport.

    Flight DL 92 was operated on a Boeing 767 registered as N196DN, which took off from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) at 17:04 and landed at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER) at 06:19 the next day of the following day, after seven hours and fifteen minutes.

    «The reactivation of our nonstop service from Berlin to New York, as well as the rebuilding of our entire network between Germany and the U.S., was a top priority for Delta. Berlin is extremely popular with our U.S. guests. Demand for flights from Berlin to the U.S. is also very high«, said Nicolas Ferri, Delta’s vice president for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.

    • New York – Berlin Flight DL 92 JFK 16:40 – BER 07:05+1 daily flights.
    • Berlin – New York Flight DL 93 BER 10:20 – JFK 13:15 daily flights.

    The route is operated by Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with 226 seats in three classes (26 Delta One/35 Comfort+/165 Economy) and promotional fares are available from USD 1,296 round trip. This service offers convenient connections to popular destinations such as San Francisco, New Orleans and Miami.

    Delta offers 3,164 seats per week between New York and Berlin, competing in this segment with United Airlines and Norse Atlantic Airways. The carrier’s flights to the German capital are available only during the northern summer season.

    • Stuttgart: four times a week on Boeing 767-300ER.

    • Frankfurt: daily flights on Airbus A330-200.
    • Munich: daily flights on Boeing 767-400ER.
    New York
    • Frankfurt: daily flights on Airbus A330-200.
    • Berlin: daily flights on Boeing 767-300ER.
