As part of its transatlantic expansion for the summer 2025 season, Delta Air Lines has launched direct flights between Atlanta and Naples, operating four times a week.

This marks the third North American service to begin this year at Naples-Capodichino Airport, joining routes from Chicago O’Hare operated by American Airlines and from Toronto-Pearson by Air Canada.

Last year, Delta debuted at the Naples airport with a seasonal service from New York-JFK, using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. In 2024, the airline carried over 56,000 passengers on the JFK–Naples route. Following the strong performance of that connection, Delta decided to add a second link from Atlanta.

Matteo Curcio, Delta’s Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India, stated: “The new nonstop flight from Naples to Atlanta represents a strategic step in enhancing our airport’s connectivity, expanding travel opportunities to the U.S. and linking Naples to hundreds of destinations via the world’s busiest hub. This new route further strengthens our partnership with Delta, which already operates the successful JFK service, and confirms the growing international appeal of Naples and the Campania region.”

The Atlanta–Naples route is served by Airbus A330-200 aircraft, with 223 seats distributed across four cabins: 34 in Delta One, 21 in Premium Select, 24 in Delta Comfort+, and 144 in the Main Cabin. Passengers enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi, and Delta One customers have access to the exclusive Sky Club lounge. Altogether, Delta will offer more than 4,800 seats between the U.S. and Naples in both directions.

During the peak summer season, Delta will operate 110 flights between the U.S. and Italy. New routes this year include Boston–Milan Malpensa, Minneapolis/St. Paul–Rome Fiumicino, and New York JFK–Catania. The Atlanta–Naples service is backed by Delta’s partners Air France and KLM.
