Delta Air Lines is expanding long-haul connectivity from Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport with a new nonstop service to Dublin, operating four routes from the Irish capital. The airline this summer will continue to boost its Irish operation with the reactivation of flights between New York JFK and Shannon.

Flight DL114 was operated on a Boeing 767 registered as N16065. The aircraft took off from Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport at 21:24 local time and landed at Dublin Airport at 10:42 the following day, after seven hours and 18 minutes. The airline will compete in this segment with Aer Lingus, which currently offers four weekly flights operated on Airbus A330s.

Delta began operations at Dublin Airport in 1988, with a direct route to Atlanta playing a key role in facilitating travel between Ireland and North America, contributing to the airport’s growth and serving millions of passengers. Today, the airline offers year-round flights from the Irish capital to New York JFK and seasonal services to Atlanta, Boston and Minneapolis/St. Paul.

“Today marks the launch of Delta Air Lines’ new direct service from Dublin to Minneapolis, adding another exciting chapter to our long-standing relationship with Delta. As Managing Director of Dublin Airport, I am delighted to be part of what is a great day for both Delta and the airport,” said Gary McLean, Managing Director of Dublin Airport.

    Flight Schedule

The route is operated on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with 216 seats in total with 26 Delta One, 18 Premium Select, 21 Delta Comfort+ and 151 Main Cabin seats. The launch of this service comes as demand for travel between Ireland and the U.S. is on the rise, and Delta will provide nearly 12,500 seats per week between Dublin and the U.S. this summer season,
