Flexible Scheduling Driven by Demand
Copa’s route structure is tailored to market demand and reflects its regional connectivity model built from Panama. The mix of short-, medium-, and long-haul routes allows seamless connections across the continent with a single stop.
The May schedule also reflects typical seasonal adjustments and operational fine-tuning, with a consistent focus on strategic markets and high-demand routes.
Looking ahead, Copa Airlines plans to launch at least three new destinations before the end of the year: San Diego (U.S.), Tucumán, and Salta (Argentina). The airline is also expected to resume service to Tulum, Mexico, in September.
Meanwhile, Copa continues to suspend all flights to Venezuela due to the ongoing diplomatic conflict between Panama and the Nicolás Maduro regime. Previously, the airline operated 37 weekly flights to Barcelona, Barquisimeto, Caracas, Maracaibo, and Valencia.
