Breaking: Avianca's New Staff Uniforms Revealed
In an event taking place tonight at Bogotá's El Dorado Airport, and in which Aviacionline is participating, Avianca has officially unveiled the new uniforms that its flight and ground support staff will wear.
The company has undergone at least seven complete renovations in its 105-year history, with the last one being in 2018.
"The new uniform marks the closing of a very important chapter in our history, and it demonstrates the path we have traveled these 105 years that allowed us to become who we are today, having the most extensive route network in history, with more than 38 million passengers transported, with Avianca Cargo stronger than ever, a leader in the region, with Lifemiles, with 14 million members," said Frederico Pedreira, CEO of Avianca, before the staff's fashion show.
"We continue to invest because we believe in the region and we believe in Colombia," he concluded.
"These new uniforms are going to change the day-to-day of more than 11,000 employees in six areas of the company: pilots, cabin crew, ramp, airports, Avianca Cargo, and maintenance," added Gabriel Oliva, Chief Operating Officer of Avianca.
