The partnership will allow passengers to travel to and from seven Bolivian cities with a single ticket and check-in luggage to their final destination. They will also be able to benefit from approximately 125 Avianca routes where they will be able to connect to 24 countries in Latin America and Europe.

Thanks to this agreement, more users will be able to enjoy the more than 3,800 weekly flights operated by Avianca, the most complete network in Colombia and one of the largest in Latin America, with more than 600,000 seats per week.

Currently the Colombian airline offers daily flights from Bogota (BOG) to La Paz (LPB) and Santa Cruz de la Viru Viru (VVI) and now there is the possibility of connecting to 11 domestic destinations in Bolivia including: Cochabamba, Cobija, Oruro, Sucre, Trinidad and others.

«So far in 2022 we have transported more than 80,000 passengers to and from Bolivia, with an occupancy factor of more than 76% on our flights. We know that Bolivia is a market in constant growth and development, so we are excited to offer our customers multiple options to connect this country, with all the possibilities of travel through our network, thanks to this new agreement,» said Julio Ordóñez, Avianca’s Director of Alliances.

Boliviana de Aviación intensifies its expansion process, making available to Bolivians the more than 65 destinations offered by Avianca. The airline is a leader in the country’s aviation industry and fully integrates Bolivia. In this way, BoA promotes Bolivian tourism and promotes the country’s culture, diversity, and traditions.

BoA in the last 15 months has added new partners and destinations: in April 2021 announced an interline agreement with Aerolineas Argentinas to expand its operations in Argentina and last February has inaugurated flights to Lima (Peru), the company’s fifth international destination, thus expanding its network in South America.
