Avelo Airlines Announces Five New Routes from New Haven and Hartford

Avelo Airlines adds five new routes, four from New Haven and one from Hartford, starting in February, further consolidating itself as a key player in regional aviation in the United States with the expansion of its network of frequencies from Connecticut.
According to the announcement, the low-cost airline will add non-stop services from New Haven to Florida, Texas, Michigan, and Maine. In the same month, it will add a third international service to the Dominican Republic from Hartford, joining existing services to Cancun (Mexico) and Montego Bay (Jamaica).
By adding these five new routes, Avelo will operate 39 services from Connecticut: 31 from New Haven and 8 from Hartford. Promotional fares start at 39 USD per segment, and tickets can be purchased from the airline’s website.

New routes from New Haven
- Jacksonville (Florida): begins February 14, 2025, with two weekly flights (Mondays and Fridays).
- Dallas/Fort Worth (Texas): starts March 7, with two weekly flights (Mondays and Fridays).
- Detroit (Michigan): begins April 4, 2024, with two weekly flights (Mondays and Fridays).
- Portland (Maine): starts May 22, 2024, with two weekly flights (Thursdays and Sundays).
From New Haven, there are also services to Atlanta, Charleston, Charlotte/Concord, Chicago-Midway, Daytona Beach, Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Greenville, Houston-Hobby, Knoxville, Myrtle Beach, Nashville, New Orleans, Orlando, Lakeland, Raleigh-Durham, San Juan (Puerto Rico), Sarasota, Savannah, St. Louis, Tampa, Traverse City, Baltimore, Washington-Dulles, West Palm Beach, and Wilmington.
New route from Hartford
- Punta Cana (Dominican Republic): starts February 21, with two weekly flights (Mondays and Fridays).
From Hartford, there are also services to Cancun, Charlotte/Concord, Daytona Beach, Houston-Hobby, Montego Bay, Lakeland, and Wilmington.
