The company had ceased operations due to the health situation and travel restrictions. As part of its expansion, Sunclass is exploring new vacation destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America, to serve the demand of travelers who are looking for sun and beach destinations.

As of November 24, 2022, the airline will relaunch its service to Aruba (AUA) with bi-weekly flights. The route will remain seasonal for four months. The flights will be operated on new Airbus A330-900neo aircraft with 373 seats in two classes.

Aruba Tourism Authority reported that this will represent an influx of 3,357 visitors from Sweden.

«The demand for Aruba in the European market is rising and direct flights from Sweden are part of our diversification strategy,» said Tirso Tromp, Air Director of Aruba Tourism Authority Europe.

«Aruba has always been one of the best selling destinations (for Ving), with extremely high visitor satisfaction» added Tromp.

The only operators between Europe and Aruba are currently KLM, which offers flights from Amsterdam (AMS) on Airbus A330 and TUI fly and its subsidiaries flying from the Dutch capital to London Gatwick (LGW) and for next summer they will add Brussels (BRU), all on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
