Aeromexico inaugurates flights between Madrid and Guadalajara
At 4:55 local time, Aeromexico’s inaugural flight from Madrid landed at Guadalajara International Airport, thereby marking the beginning of regular transatlantic passenger operations at Mexico’s third busiest airport.

The airline will operate three weekly flights between the two cities, departing from Madrid on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 23:35 and arriving in Guadalajara at 5:45 the following day after a 13-hour flight. Conversely, flight AM36 will depart from the Mexican city on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 14:25, landing at Barajas airport at 8:00 the following day after 10 hours and 35 minutes of flight time.
Aeromexico will cover the route with Boeing 787-9 aircraft with a capacity for 36 people in Clase Premier, 27 in AM Plus, and 211 in Economy.
This new flight will complement Aeromexico’s European offer, which currently includes two daily flights from Mexico City to Madrid and a daily flight to Paris-CDG and Amsterdam.
The company will also inaugurate scheduled flights between Monterrey and Madrid this Thursday.
