Boeing reportedly received a total of 774 orders in 2022, after cancellations and conversions. In addition, it delivered 480 aircraft to customers.

«We worked hard in 2022 to stabilize 737 production, resume 787 deliveries, launch the 777-8 Freighter and, most importantly, meet our customer commitments», said Stan Deal, President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. «As the airline industry expands its recovery, we are seeing strong demand across our product family, particularly the highly efficient 737 MAX and the 787 Dreamliner», he added.

    Orders received during 2022

    • Orders for 561 737 MAX aircraft. Despite the difficulties still faced by some of its variants, Boeing added new customers for the latest version of its popular single-aisle aircraft family: All Nippon Airways (ANA), Delta, International Airlines Group (IAG) and Dominican low-cost carrier Arajet.
    • Orders for 213 widebody aircraft: 114 Boeing 787 Dreamliner, 68 orders for 777X and 777F aircraft, and 31 orders for 767-300F and 767-2C aircraft.
    • Orders for 78 freighter aircraft, including 45 orders for 767-300F and 777F models. In addition, Boeing launched the 777-8F earlier this year; since then, it has received nearly fifty orders for the type, which is still in development.

    Deliveries completed during 2022

    • Delivery of 387 single-aisle aircraft. This includes 374 Boeing 737 MAX and 13 military-derivative airplanes.
    • Delivery of 93 wide-body aircraft: 5 Boeing 747-8F, 33 Boeing 767-2C and 767-300F, 24 Boeing 777-300ER and 777F, and 31 Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
