Felix Antelo, President & CEO of Grupo Viva, commented «Today we celebrate this recognition, we have the most modern fleet in the country, the second youngest in the region and the fourth in the world. At Viva we continue to invest in our aircraft to offer our travelers greater safety and technology in their flights; in addition, by being more efficient, we contribute concretely to the sustainability of the airline industry and the environment».

Viva has a fleet of 21 Airbus A320 and NEO aircraft whose technology enables it to reduce CO2 emissions in its operations by consuming 15% less fuel and reducing engine noise by 50%. In terms of biosafety, this fleet has specialized technology and HEPA purification filters, which renew the air breathed in the cabin every three minutes.

The company commented that it expects to integrate 8 more aircraft this year as part of its international expansion plan.
