ITA retains Alitalia brand for 90 million euros

-

In a long-awaited decision, ITA Transporto Aereo took over the Alitalia brand and its associated web domains, following the extraordinary administration’s acceptance of the bid presented, for a value of 90 million Euros.

This acquisition will allow the company to continue to use the websites, brand, livery, uniforms and other associated identification.

Yesterday we reported that ITA would continue to use the brand temporarily by agreement, but the acceptance of the reported offer will grant it the permanent right to use the Alitalia name.

This is a developing story.
