Loyalty Data Analytics Leader

    The loyalty data analytics leader is responsible for supporting the data needs of the department and capitalizing on data driven insights to improve program performance. The individual will identify membership segments that are positioned for performance improvement and assist other internal stakeholders for campaign execution and analysis. The role is also accountable for establishing methodology for test designs, implementing and performing statistical analysis, modelling, reporting and assessments.

    Key responsibilities:
    • Find data driven opportunities for member performance improvements
    • Manage all customer behaviour segmentation and strategic modelling leveraging customer transaction data
    • Engage with senior leaders across the business to understand and scope analytics opportunities to support deeper customer insights
    • Design and develop methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured / diverse big data sources to provide actionable insights and solutions
    • Support campaign/promotional execution with accurate and timely identification and delivery of targeted segments
    • Create and present an impartial analysis of campaign/promotional effectiveness
    • Develop reports, visualizations, and presentations to clearly highlight the actionable insights from customer data as a conclusion that can be used to make business decisions
    • Develop and deliver ongoing Customer Insights Dashboard
    • Develop and implement long-term analytics roadmap
    • Structure monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to other business functions to share knowledge and insights
    Education & Work Experience:
    • Degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing or a relevant discipline
    • Preferably 5-8 years of loyalty program experience; airline, banking, telco or retail experience will be considered
    • Extensive loyalty program and mobile app knowledge and experience, knowledge in the loyalty economics
    • Experience with product development and customer insights
    Skills & Personal Attributes:
    • Business and financial background
    • Sound numeracy, analytical and abstract reasoning skills together with highly developed written and verbal communication skills
    • Good organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines
    • Ability to lead, develop and motivate teams
