Copa Airlines adds a fifth destintation in Venezuela

-

Copa Airlines expands its offer in Venezuela with the scheduling of a new non-stop service between Panama – Tocumen and Barquisimeto. The Panamanian company will be the only foreign airline to offer scheduled passenger flights at Jacinto Lara International Airport.

Copa Airlines continues to strengthen Venezuela’s connectivity with the rest of the region. The addition of this fifth destination in Venezuela will provide more options for our passengers to connect to our extensive route network through the Hub of the Americas in Panama. Without a doubt, this expansion of our route network in Venezuela will have a positive impact on the community by offering more travel options to the entire region“, said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines.

Barquisimeto is the company’s fifth destination in Venezuela, complementing its operations to Caracas, Valencia, Maracaibo and Barcelona. By October, Copa will offer 13,134 weekly seats between Panama and Venezuela, making it the largest airline in this market in terms of ASK according to Cirium.
