Viva Aerobus strengthens Jalisco’s connectivity, mainly as a result of the reconfiguration of the air market and supply. The Ministry of Tourism of Jalisco, the Guadalajara Convention and Visitors Bureau (OVCG) and the Public Trust for Tourism Promotion and Publicity of Puerto Vallarta, celebrated the increase of operations on the Guadalajara (GDL) – Puerto Vallarta (PVR) route of the Mexican low-cost airline.

“These new flights are the result of collaborative work between the private sector, the Ministry of Tourism of Jalisco, the Puerto Vallarta Trust and the Guadalajara Tourism Trust that work to generate greater dynamism and tourism exchange that will drive local and regional economic growth and development, the goal is to continue growing and creating ties with new cities,” said Gustavo Staufert Buclon, general director of OFVC Guadalajara.

In March of this year, the company increased its operations from 7 to 16 weekly flights on the Guadalajara (GDL) – Puerto Vallarta (PVR) route. The company is preparing to meet the strong demand for the Easter vacations and continue to offer consumers affordable fares for their travels.

Viva Aerobus first landed in Jalisco in 2006 operating uninterruptedly and offering 22 regular routes in Guadalajara (GDL) and 6 in Puerto Vallarta (PVR). In addition, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport (GDL) is one of the company’s six operating bases, where it provides connections to 18 domestic and 4 international destinations (Bogota, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles).
