Emirates passengers will be able to access 19 new domestic destinations in the Philippines. These routes are operated by Philippine Airline and include the cities of Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Cotabato, Davao, Iloilo, Kalibo, among others. All destinations are accessible from Manila.

For their part, Philippine Airlines passengers will be able to access 21 cities through Emirates and its home base in Dubai. London, Rome, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Paris and Kuwait, as well as Jeddah and other points in the Middle East, Africa and India are the destinations Philippine Airlines customers will be able to connect to.

“The Philippines is one of our strongest consumer markets and we are delighted to sign a new interline agreement with the country’s flag carrier. The partnership with Philippine Airlines will help open up new links for trade and tourism that will drive more inbound traffic into the market and expand Emirates’ footprint in East Asia. We look forward to offering our partner airline’s customers additional travel options to Emirates destinations in the Middle East, Europe and the Americas, and expanding our cooperation with plans to include additional points via Cebu in the coming months.” Said Adnan Kazim, Emirates chief commercial officer.

For his part Bud Britanico, Vice President Sales of Philippine Airlines commented, “We are delighted to embark on this new interline partnership with Emirates that expands the options available to Philippine Airlines passengers, who now get easier access to more destinations in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa through our flights to Dubai.
