Estelar will have flights between Caracas and Santiago and will be the only carrier linking Venezuela and Chile

Estelar will connect Caracas (CCS) directly to Santiago (SCL) as from March 11. The company suspended its operations in the Chilean capital in March 2020, as a consequence of the COVID-19 health crisis.

The route will have a technical stopover in Lima, Peru (LIM) and will offer 296 seats per week on this service. In addition, the Venezuelan capital will be the 22nd South American destination from Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL).

Flight Itinerary

  • Caracas – Santiago de Chile Flight ES 871 CCS 10:00 – SCL 20:30 Saturday.
  • Santiago de Chile – Caracas Flight ES 870 SCL 08:00 – CCS 16:30 Sunday.

The route will be operated in Boeing 737-300 aircraft with a capacity of 148 passengers and promotional fares are available from USD 850 round trip. Estelar will be the only airline to offer air services between Venezuela and Chile.

Currently, the Venezuelan airline offers an international operation to Panama – Tocumen (PTY) and its domestic network provides non-stop services to Barinas (BNS), Caracas (CCS), El Vigía (VIG), Maracaibo (MAR), Maturín (MUN), Porlamar (PMV), Puerto Ordaz (PZO) and Santo Domingo del Táchira (STD).

Previously, Conviasa operated several humanitarian flights between Caracas (CCS) and Santiago (SCL) in 2022. Chile is one of Venezuela’s most important VFR (friends and/or family visiting) markets.

Chile more connected to South America

The South American offer of Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport (SCL) includes services to Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and soon Venezuela. The Chilean capital is connected with destinations to Buenos Aires (EZE/AEP), Mendoza (MDZ), Bariloche (BRC), Córdoba (COR), Bogotá (BOG), Medellín (MDE), Cali (CLO), Cartagena (CTG), Rio de Janeiro (GIG), São Paulo (GRU), Florianópolis (FLN), Foz de Iguazú (IGU), Curitiba (CWB), Lima (LIM), Trujillo (TRU), Arequipa (AQP), Montevideo (MVD), Asunción (ASU), Guayaquil (GYE), Santa Cruz (VVI), La Paz (LPB) and as of March Caracas (CCS).
