Venezuelan government authorizes scheduled flights to Brazil

Venezuela’s aviation authority, Instituto Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil (INAC) has added Brazil to the list of countries authorized to operate scheduled passenger and cargo operations in Venezuela under NOTAM N° C0693/22 and A0292/22.

Currently the nations that are authorized for international flights are: Cuba, Turkey, Russia, Mexico, Bolivia, Bolivia, Panama, Portugal, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Spain and Iran.

Prior to the pandemic the companies offering flights to Brazil were Avior Airlines with a route between Caracas (CCS) and Manaus (MAO) with twice weekly flights in Boeing 737-200 and Conviasa which in 2019 operated a service to Manaus (MAO) from Porlamar (PMV) and Caracas (CCS) twice a week in Embraer E190 aircraft.
