Air France inaugurates flights between Montreal and Guadeloupe

On November 24, Air France launched flights between Montreal (YUL) and Guadeloupe (PTP): Trudeau Airport (YUL) becomes the French airline’s third North American base with operations to the French West Indies, complementing New York (JFK) and Miami (MIA).

Flight itinerary

  • Montreal – Guadeloupe AF625 YUL 13:00 – PTP 18:50 two weekly flights on Wednesday and Saturday.
  • Guadeloupe – Montreal AF624 PTP 15:20 – YUL 19:50 one flight weekly on Tuesday.
  • Guadeloupe – Montreal AF625 PTP 16:20 – YUL 20:50 one flight weekly on Saturday.

The flights will be operated in Airbus A320, with a capacity of 144 seats in two classes: business and economy.

Executive class passengers and Flying Blue Elite customers will be able to benefit from access to the VIP lounge in Guadeloupe (PTP) and the newly opened lounge in Montreal (YUL). Travelers flying economy class can also take advantage of lounge access at Trudeau Airport (YUL), subject to availability and for a fee.

“We are excited to inaugurate this new link to Pointe-a-Pitre, offering a sunny destination to our Quebec and Ontario customers. In addition, we are delighted to offer a new alternative to Montreal for the Guadeloupe community, which includes many students” said Catherine Guillemart-Dias, Vice President and General Manager of Air France in Canada.

The new flight to Guadeloupe (PTP) complements Air France’s Quebec offer, as the airline recently increased to three daily flights between Montreal (YUL) and Paris (CDG).

Air France will compete against other Canadian carriers on its new route to the French West Indies: Air Transat offers two flights per week on Airbus A321neo and Air Canada offers three flights per week on Airbus A220, Boeing 737 MAX, and Airbus A319.
