Air Caraïbes received its second Airbus A350-1000

The second A350-1000 of Air Caraïbes made its first commercial flight the day after it was received from the Airbus plant.

The aircraft, with registration F-HTOO, had arrived at the Paris-Orly Airport on Tuesday (22) morning, and around noon this Wednesday it took off for Pointe-à-Pitre operating flight TX540, arriving at the Caribbean island at 2:23 p.m. after 7 hours 45 minutes of flight.

In this way, the second Airbus A350-1000 aircraft was presented on the company’s official twitter.

With its A350-1000 Air Caraïbes operates a daily flight between Paris-Orly and Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe and between Paris-Orly and Fort de France, Martinique.

This incorporation of the French Caribbean airline has 429 seats (24 correspond to Business, 45 to “Caraïbes” -Economic Premium and 360 to “Soleil” -Economic). Before the end of the year, Air Caraïbes will receive its third A350-1000, thus completing the order. It is currently the only airline in America to own this version of Airbus’ largest twin-engine.

The company also operates three Airbus A350-900s with capacity for 389 passengers (18 – 45 – 326), three A330-200s, two A330-300s and three ATR 472-600s.

Its current network links Paris-Orly with Fort de France, Cayenne (French Guyana), Port-au-Prince (Haiti), Pointe-a-Pitre and Punta Cana; and to Pointe-à-Pitre with St. Barths and St. Maarten.
