The accelerated recovery process of air connectivity in Colombia had a positive impact on Viva Air, as shown by the numbers released by the ultra low-cost.

In the first quarter of this year, it transported 1,047,898 passengers on 6,807 flights, with its operational capacity in March growing 31% compared to February, which allowed it to capture 23% of the Colombian market. During the same period of 2020, according to data from Aerocivil, Viva Air had transported 1,098,510 passengers.

The load factor reached 82%, the same as before the pandemic and two percentage points more than the average value registered in the industry at the local level, being the leader in this indicator.
