    On Saturday Sept 25th, the airline’s inaugural flight to Varadero arrived from Mexico City. The company’s Airbus A320 landed at the Juan Gualberto Gómez Ferrer International Airport with 21 passengers on board, according to the airport terminal’s social networks.

    The company’s flight schedule from Mexico City to Varadero is as follows:

    • Tuesday
      • VB092 arrives in Varadero at 12:15 pm
      • VB093 departs from Varadero at 1:30 pm.
    • Saturdays
      • VB092 arrives in Varadero at 1:30 pm.
      • VB093 departs Varadero at 3:00 pm.

    The airline also returned to Cayo Coco.

    According to reports on social networks, the airline also returned to Jardines del Rey International Airport in Cayo Coco, with a flight departing from Cancun International Airport.

    This operation will be carried out once a week on Thursdays, with the following schedule:

      • VB930 arrives in Cayo Coco at 10:00 am.
      • VB931 departs Cayo Coco at 11:15 am.

    These routes to Cuba are an addition to the company’s other routes, which will connect Cancun and Mexico City with Havana. These operations will be carried out according to the following schedule:

    • From Cancun to José Martí International Airport (Havana):
      • Wednesday, October 13, 20, and 27:
        • VB312 arrives in Havana at 9:30 am.
        • VB313 departs Havana at 10:45 am.
    • From Mexico City to Havana
      • Wednesday, October 6
        • VB084 arrives in Havana at 12:00 pm
        • VB085 departs Havana at 1:15 pm

    Viva Aerobus operated until February -when the Cuban government decided to limit the number of flights to Latin America- flights to Camagüey, Holguín, Santa Clara, and Santiago de Cuba. The airline also flew between Monterrey and Merida to Havana, with a weekly operation from each of these cities.
